Using the Templates
The templates are designed for the English version of MS Word 2000 on PCs.
PCs at CERN
For PC users at CERN the templates are available from the NICE network
in the LHC group of templates. To create a new document based on one of
the template do the following:

Start Word

Menu File - New - Click the LHC tab - Select the template - OK
Other users

Download and save the ZIP file containing the templates

Extract the templates from the ZIP file and save the one(s) that you need in
your local directory of templates

Alrternatively drag and drop the template from the WinZip window to a Word
window, it might work.
To see where your local directory of templates is located:
- Start Word
- Menu Tools - Options - File locations - User templates
To create a new document:

Start Word

Menu File - New - Click the tab containing your templates - Select the
template - OK
